About Pole Signs

To place a Pole Sign, a sleeve is pre-installed at a specific agreed upon location. The pole sign is installed late Friday or early Saturday morning by slipping the pole into the previously installed sleeve and locking it in place. Sign removal is at the end of the day on Sunday.

Location specifications vary with local ordinances and enforcement. In some areas pole signs may be placed with land owner approval and the client will pay a ground lease. In other locations including public right-of-way areas, signs may be placed with a clear understanding of the potential fees, fines and enforcement exposure.

A Pole sign is the property of MSI (MSI owned).  The client purchases the fabrication of a custom sign face and pays a fee to install the sign on a weekly basis.

A Pole Sign can be run independently or in conjunction with other weekend services.

Vandalism: Signs can be damaged, destroyed, knocked down or removed.		The MSI Approach: MSI attempts to place signs in the best possible locations and removes them at the end of the weekend.
Ground Leases: In some cases, MSI is able to obtain a ground lease for the pole sign and , in others, is not able to which makes the sign subject to enforcement or removal.		The MSI Approach: MSI carefully plans the routes and placements are made to maximize exposure. When a sign is removed, another alternative product or location is offered.
Heavy and Large: The pole signs need to be transported by someone with a vehicle large enough and a person capable of installing it.		The MSI Approach: Use weekend placers with appropriate vehicles and have the ability to lift and carry.
Weekend Issues: Issues can arise during the weekend when many offices are closed.		The MSI Approach: The supervisor of the area checks in with the client every weekend in person or via phone. In addition, MSI operates weekend hotline phone number and email to address clients' questions and issues.
